Meet Chefs Jessie & Elise

the land, run by the multi-talented pair Jessie and Elise, is a social and agricultural project centered around the idea that food – both the produce itself and the cooking of it – serves as a means of connecting and sharing with others. Jessie and Elise use the food they grow in dinners, workshops, and events they host to translate the concept of small-scale, regenerative agricultural production beyond the farm to those who consume it. They cook meals that are filling and comforting, following the nonna/bubbie principle: food doesn’t need to be complicated to be delicious, and it should never be served in small portions.

for Jess, the land is an alternative format to engage with for anyone who wishes to be involved in food system networks and for Elise the land is a playing ground for her to plant grain and go through the full process of making a bread from grain to loaf.
